Can I ask? Why is this game being released in America 2 months before Japan. It's being released in Japan in December. It's a Japanese game. Come on!

As far as the Japanese market is concerned, the publisher may be intentionally avoiding the international release of Pokémon X/Y as I can see this game having a rather non optimal release date in NA.

Big deal. Resistance/Motorstorm on the PS3 are Western games and they were released in Japan first. It's not like this is a new revelation. Loads of games/consoles have been released outside their country of development first. It may be due the higher popularity. Twilight Princess has sold over 4 million in the States alone and only 640,000 in Japan, since it's a known fact Zelda is huge here and not so huge over there. Of course Resistance isn't popular in Japan, but it's a launch title and the PS3 happened to come out in Japan 6 days prior to the US release.
