Its about the relationship of a crazy high school bitch and a very pessimistic high school kid. If you like shows about people just doing interesting stuffs, then that is the show for you.

You obviously just missed the pun I made on their misspelling of "melancholy". I've already seen the Haruhi Suzumiya series, and I'm a big fan of it.

I was worried for a second that Noizi Ito was drawing a new Madoka spin-off because I REALLY disliked her artwork for the Haruhi manga volumes 1-11 were absolutely awfully drawn, it did get better after that but I'm still angry that she ruined most of it.
This art looks quite good, but she's always been better at colour images, if you compare the covers over the Haruhi volumes to their content there is a big difference.

...Ito Noizi didn't illustrate the Haruhi manga...

I like the art in the early Haruhi manga well enough. It definitely did not ruin anything for me. But I do like the later volumes better, especially the character design for Haruhi.
And the Haruhi manga is drawn by Gaku Tsugano, not Noizi Ito.

This is awesome! I love the Haruhi novels artwork. It's actually the main reason I'm kind of disappointed in Yen Press combining the two Surprise novels. Less cover art for me.
