why does this already have 2 more season planned when they are just starting the current one and full metal panic isn't getting another 1?

A better question would be, why are you comparing 2 unrelated anime aimed at different demographics to each other?

That is just the nature of the beast. Unless its a shonen jump work, or some kind of game based show like Pokemon, Yu gi oh, there is almost zero chance of lasting more than 2 season, and shows with more than 3 can be counted on one hand. Zero's Familiar and Natsume Book of friends are the only two in very recent memory that have gone on to at least 4 seasons.
