I had a feeling something like this would eventually happen. When Nishikori Kei made it to the U.S. Open final, my memories of The Prince of Tennis automatically came to mind. Congratulations, Nishikori Kei! That was also nice of Konomi Takeshi.

"...Jaguar presented Nishitori with Prince of Tennis-style fan art as a gift from Konomi"
There was a spelling error.

I wonder whether Nishikori ever read the manga.

I'm sure Nishikori is really happy to get the fan art from Konomi.

Also congrats to him for being the first Asian male player to reach a Grand Slam singles final

In my short life of watching tennis, enjoying Kei Nishikori in 2014 might have been the most fun I've had with any tennis player. Watching him evolve from the beginning of the year to now, breaking barriers along the way (the tournaments in Miami, Barcelona and Madrid), it was quite the experience.

I hate to use this word but that U.S Open run was MAGICAL. He had a history of breaking down and wilting and all of a sudden, he prevails in back-to-back marathon matches against top 10 players Milos Raonic and Stanislas Wawrinka. Then, he follows THAT by outplaying the best player in the game, Novak Djokovic. I will go to my grave in disbelief that Marin Cilic played in an other-worldly level that week that we'll never see from him again. I still can't believe I got to be there from start (fist-bumped him after his first round match against Wayne Odesnik) to finish (the final against Cilic).

And just in case we thought that was a fluke, he wins tournaments in Malaysia and Japan and made the semis in a tournament that only had top 10 players...

Oh, how I long for the day when Takeshi Konomi draws Ryoma Echizen and Nishikori together with Ryoma as the Prince and Grand Slam-champion Nishikori as the King.

Given his age, wouldn't be any surprise if he was actually influenced by it.

That man has good taste. The F-type is, while in my opinion not quite hitting the design bar set by the E-type, a damned good automobile nonetheless (especially the Project 7). I hope after the success of the F-type (as exhibited by this press release here and elsewhere, that the Indian parent company will approve some more unconventional designs, and maybe even get Jaguar back into endurance racing where it belongs! Come back Jaguar! GT has missed you!

Possibly, though he has lived in Florida since he was 14.
