I was worried for the show. So, this is going to be a bit like Kokoro Connect, then.

Working in particular didn't seem to need to postpone the episode because of time slot issues, they just decided to have the ending be a special.

Great news. I prefer waiting a few months for a proper conclusion.

This. With Working!!! it was done deliberately, unlike Kekkai Sensen.

While I haven't watched this series, it would be nice if they could at least done the first 11-12 eps. as part of the summer season because then fans only have 1-2 eps. to wait for.

You can't do that. The next season is always fully booked. If a studio needs a slot, it has to come from the next season after. Look at Girls & Panzer and Kakkai Sensen. They had to wait an entire season.

My personal opinion is this is a direct effect of the type of work schedule most studios use. As well as exactly what these studios expect of and how they treat their employees.

It's impossible not to see the correlation between this industry that includes manga, VA, TV series, game development and most ancillary work and the rate of illness and injury.

The Japanese, in general put work above all else. Combine it with an industry that is already fast paced with a heavy work load and issues like this will occur. I think some of the recent changes in the industry have become, in part, the proverbial straw on the camel's back.

This might be the best looking anime show ever made, beside Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night.

They could always have put it online but I wouldn't be surprised if there was some legal/rights issue barring that.
