For those with a passing familiarity with other DMM games, the LoGH game shouldn't be too difficult to figure out. The grid-based system for combat is fairly straight-forward, with a tutorial that does a decent job of showing you the general flow.
So you can play the game without too much working knowledge of Japanese (though every bit helps), and if you're familiar with the story line, you can generally follow where they are in the narrative (that I've seen so far). Much of the narrative actually uses images straight from the anime.
Of course, as with other DMM games this one is region locked, so you'll need to use a proxy service or one of the alternative methods (ie. the DMM region cookie fix) that can be found elsewhere.
