Ifi is releasing monster monpiece uncensored on steam soon, moero chronicles has an english asain release and moero crystal IS getting an english asain release later this year so while there's absolutely no chance this game is localized I have a good feeling that it'll get an english asian release

Does ANN really have to post ecchi imagery of lolita characters for news articles like these...? It's a bit offputting to see thumbnails of children dressed suggestively like this when browsing the main page of the site (it seems a bit lewd and unprofessional, unless the site is moving in the direction of more openly covering material like this).

Where did you see children? All I see are characters in a video game. I see no problems with an anime news site reporting on anime and video games with an anime style. |

It's also simple to choose thumbnails that are less overtly offensive to mainstream sensibilities on the front page of the site. I was supportive of the thumbnail image system when they first introduced it some years ago, but I didn't think they'd have the poor taste to post borderline erotic images of children on it.
Next you'll be telling me that you don't even see humans, just random lines and swathes of color. I know there's a difference between reality and fiction, but it stretches credulity to go so far as to say these images don't depict children. In any case, it's up to the site staff/ownership to consider, and I've said my piece on the matter. |

They are pixels and lines. 
But they don't resemble human beings just classic anime characters so they don't have human rights.

 More seriously though, I would think ANN draws a line somewhere on what sort of imagery they have forward-facing on the site. They never seem to post inherently sexually explicit images (i.e. like from porn dojinshi) for their featured images, and I generally assumed they at least aimed to have safe-for-work level content for their front pages. That said, if they want to post full on ero guro-fetish bdsm hardcore porn images on the front of the site, then sure, that's their prerogative --- but I wouldn't be surprised if people start expressing discomfort visiting the site because of it.

I see nothing porn is these drawings, maybe you have a different meter to judge, art is subjective after all.
But you are the only one here that QQ, no other people in the whole community asked to remove these images. You are so important to decide this for everyone? Just wondering.

Two forum-goers have already pointed out the image as displaying a loli character, so even people who like it are conscientious of its target demographic. The fact that she's wearing a bra that only covers her nipples (with the strap falling off in at least one of the images) is an erotic design choice, and although it's not pornographic, it's a degree of objectionable artwork that wouldn't fly in almost any professional environment.
If other people speak up then that's fine, and if other people don't then that's fine as well. The only "decision" I'm making is to express my feelings on the image, because selecting the images on the site isn't my (or your) choice to make. |

Nah, I agree with Kikaioh. I don't think a 5 year old girl practically wearing pasties is an appropriate thumbnail image either.
