Thank you. I wish they could have had Jason Anthony Griffith or Joshua Seth reprise as 009. Funny thing is that "Akira" stars JYB and JS (Tetsuo and Kaneda, respectively) have now done 009. I think they may have JYB to play 009 in part because his counterpart was also Lelouch.

Wow. Awesome. I was hoping this would get a half decent release eventually, and this is...golly. Gosh. Cool!

Talk about unexpected. I thought we'd be lucky if we'd ever see fansubs for this OVA but official subs AND an english dub? Hot damn.

Between Daredevil and all the other stuff on this weekend, my plate is packed as is. One more for the pile.

Anyone else find it rather odd than Johnny Yong Bosch keeps on dubbing Jun Fukuyama roles?

Not really. Stuff like that happens a lot in anime dubs. I mean, Max Mittelman isn't a hugely popular VA but he's already become 'The Natsuki Hanae guy'.

Well that came out of nowhere, I would like to know how to choice these Animes, it all seems rather random. Still this is great new, I was worried I wouldn't be able to watch it as we lack a fansub. But now I can see some official subs. Interesting cast, more diverse than what Funi keep chucking out. Not to fond of Bryce Papenbrook as Akira, I've seen the OVAs and he does not suit the character. Others seem fine, always nice to see Wendee Lee, Johnny Yong Bosch seems to have been given the type of roles he used to get. Spike Spencer ussaly has an interesting performance, even if not always good.

Wow this is unexpected and just confirmed its not april fools lol.

I've been trying to look into the Devilman and Cyborg 009 but they are kind of hard to find online, at least in HD and subbed for some reason.

Do I need to see other iterations of devilman and cyborg before jumping onto this 3 episode crossover?

I think you are 13 years too late with that statement.

More dubs would be nice, but the subs' amount is impressive.
