That Magearna movie chose the worst timing to debut:
- Finding Dory - Yo-kai Watch 3 But with all the sincerity, pokemon has long lost its appeal for the young audience regarding the anime and movies in Japan and the rest of the world cares about the movies just as much. Hoopa movie got the lowest performance ever witnessed in the franchise and this year won't be any different as, as usual, the writers refuse to change their ancient strategy and don't really care about what they are doing wrong. Every movie was always the same thing: Ash meets the cutie legendary, befriends, saves the world and byebye. Who cares about that now? Even Yo-kai Watch changes their format every movie in order to avoid that mistake. First movie was one-long story, the second movie was split in 5 plots connected in the end and the third will be a mix of live-action and anime. Fresh every time. |
