Nice read!

Having just gotten into Gunpla, it was quite interesting to read about. I picked up two High Grades and two Master Grades within the past month, and am loving how surprisingly easy the instructions are (especially for my IBO models). They really are just a cooler version of Legos.

Great interview. I love Gunpla. I've been building kits for many years now. I've got a stack of Unicorn stuff I haven't even gotten to. If they would do a 1:100 scale of Tryon-3 from BFT I'd be all over that. The 1:144 just doesn't do it justice.

The first model I ever built was the SR-71 Blackbird.

the one question most collectors want to know:

When will North America get it's own Premium Bandai site or ability to order p-bandai models without having to go through a broker/reseller? The markup on these models is usually around 130% of the Japanese price or more before shipping. This with the low production runs makes getting any premium models outside of Japan difficult and costly.

Very happy to hear the west is high ranked in Gunpla it seems buying model kits and putting them together has helped Smile and so far the IBO line has been really good Smile

Thanks for the interview.

I got back into Gundam models recently because of Reconguista. I still have to import most of my kits because the selection at my local retailers are still pretty bad. I'm glad to hear their trying to expand.

Singaporean people so lucky. They just got their own Premium Bandai site for purchasing exclusive gunpla. Hope they expand more for other countries.

This is a great question. I was trying to get the blue frame and gold frame of the RG Astray models but nobody would take less than $60 and that's easily 3X the cost of a typical RG kit.

Great interview and I can relate as I've only watched/read a fraction of the Gundam franchise but have built probably 20 or so kits over the last handful of years. I like to build the kits first and find myself getting into that property. Great example is the MG SInanju being easily one of my top 3 favorite builds and then I went into the Unicorn storyline and it was just awesome.

Great interview. I've been buying Gunpa for years and was so excited when they started selling them in stores again. The western resurrection of Gundam has been great so far.
