Ah, Pokémon shipping. The only one where it didn't matter which one you preferred because it would never happen anyway. But Serena will definitely be in Sun and Moon for a few episodes, just like the other lead females. All that remains now is for her to tie the knot.

It would nice to have Serena come back for like a few episodes later on like what Misty, May, and Dawn did, but that's all I see happening.

This is one of the reasons I dislike the Pokemon anime; the disregard for continuous characters. Even if they seem important by the end of their respective series, they get dropped out and sidelined for new 'eye candy'.

This could be remedied by ditching Ash/Satoshi too, but NOPE. Seriously, go one way or the other.

Isn't ash still like 10 years old. I stopped watching Pokémon over a decade ago but this romance thing sounds ridiculous.

Don't all of the main Pokemon girls have a thing for Ash? Maybe could have like a harem episode.

Any shipping prior to Serena was just that. Shipping. Serena and Satoshi is not shipping so much as actual romance albeit one-sided and ending up going unrequited. (Kasumi x Satoshi was dub-only junk. Kasumi is too permiscuous to be tied down to one man).

Serena will no doubt have a cameo in Sun and Moon, because unlike Iris, who was put on a train and never seen again, people actually like Serena

Well if nothing else, CERTAIN Pokemon fans are happy for the ship between Ash & Serena.

Anyway with that out of the way, let's see how Ash travels take him in the Alola region!

Pokemon should have done the thing Digimon does, change the entire cast for every series, (main character included) this is mainly because Ash is a loser, the Pokemon origin anime special did it right by having a protagonist that doesn't suck.

No. We may have thought Misty had a thing for Ash, but that's what the English dub had us believe. May, Dawn, and Iris were busy with contests and whatever the hell Iris doing. Confused

Serena's the only one that really liked him.

Iris was trying to become a Dragon Master. She's traveling after Black & White to continue on with her goal.

Ash looks and acts so much like a younger kid in S&M that it would be weird if he got romantic.
