It's interesting to see a few series try this two, 6-episode release model. Attack on Titan S2 did it to....questionable results. (5,500 isn't bad and was three times the normal price, but it was so much less than the first season sold I don't know if that made up for it.)
I'll be curious to see what sort of numbers this series will put up.

1st half of 2017 bluray/dvd sales already flopped so hard, imagine the tragedy without Your Name being in the market the drop might go terribly beyond 30% compared to last year's chart. I guess Osomatsu and LL Sunshine will have to save the rest of 2017.
I just checked twitter, seems like Children of the Whales has some decent number of fans it's quite popular. I'm also curious how many it will sell considering that it's up against the 2 giant sequels.
