Zinba (神魄) is a Chinese series from Alpha Group. TMS Entertainment lists it on their English website and uploaded a trailer onto their YouTube channel. However, if you read through the credits (this is an official upload) you'll find no mention of them or any Japanese staff. Yet I can find an odd reference to the show being a TMS series in a Korean press release???
I'm having similar problems with a claim that Nippon Animation was involved with a South Korean series called Mix Master. Japanese Wikipedia [url=https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/カード王_ミックスマスター]seems to think[/url] that's true but if you read the credits and search for a press release you'll find nothing. |

Unfortunately, I'm not sure either of those are great outlets for this. It's a really specific and obscure question that I'm sure Justin will just skip over it and it'll get buried in that thread. I guess I could try to frame the Answerman question as a "Why do Japanese partners often distance themselves from international co-pros?" sort of thing even though I have a good grasp on the answer to that. |
