A dubbed trailer for a light novel.
That's new, at least. It's kinda cute.

I know that ads like these are pretty common on the Japanese side, but I don't expect English publishers to pick up on this trend. Making ads for books in general isn't very common here, but it might be nice to see at least a few attempts.

It's probably one way they are trying to up their marketing to try to get an established audience. Companies like J-novel and Yen Press already have one, and a youtube commercial isn't likely to add too much to it. Sol Press is small enough that a youtube commercial might be worth the cost. I can't help but wonder who Sol Press hired to dub it though. It would be funny if they did it with random employees, though it sounds a bit too good for that to be the case.

Looking at their twitter feed, seems they hired a VA to voice each one.
Michelle Marie did the Strongest Gamer ad, and Sara Secora for the Battle Divas ad.
Doesn't seem like either has done a bunch outside of video games

Hopefully this company shows good results with their releases and kicks off.
