As much as I love these character designs and am excited to watch, I'm feeling more and more that animation itself rarely does Hidari's designs justice. Or at least, between the E&L anime, that Roomate season that Hidari did the guys for and now this? All of them look quite nice. They just kind of. . . don't do much to capture the full appeal of Hidari's designs it seems.
But I'll be happy as long as we get more projects like this, and more anime and games with character designs by Hidari. |
