When does Misato ever say 'Service, service'?

It was in the previews for the next episode that followed the credits in the original Eva TV. They had little preview clips talking about the next episode, and sometimes Misato would promise more fanservice next time. It was not during the episodes themselves.

This is a bit of a nitpick, but is there any reason these articles keep specifying "kids anime Shinkalion"? Evangelion's TV series was aimed at children as well, so it seems a bit redundant is all.

I have not seen any Shinkalion, but my guess is that it is intended for a much younger age group compared to Evangelion. About the most you could say about Eva is that it could appeal to teenagers, but Shinkalion appears to be more for 8-year-olds.

You can usually tell the age demographic an anime is aimed at based on its airing time. Shinkalion, the PreCure franchise, and Pokemon have day time air slots (usually in the morning).
Neon Genesis Evangelion was never targeted at "kids". It aired in a prime time slot (6:30pm) so, maybe it was meant for a more general audience initially.
