That was to be expected it pretty much ended on a "to be continued" ambience and was rather well received. Glad to see it finally confirmed

Yaay that is good news! Most likely it will get a simuldub by Funi since they most likely will pick it up with crunchy Very Happy. At least that is what i put my bucks on xD.

I'm surprised this was actually popular enough for a second season.

Like The Royal Tutor, I actually thought the ending was pretty conclusive in the first season, so I'm not sure what the point of a second season is.

With all the respect to the fans of this anime but I don't understand why this is getting a second season when there are animes that have been much more successful and don't have a sequel.

I don't know anyone who watched this.

Good news because I liked it but never expected this when I saw the DVD/Blu-rays only selling triple digits. I guess it did something.

I really did enjoy Mononokean and when Funimation announced the DVD release I was happy. I am very glad it is getting a second season. The manga seems to be doing well I always see it on the comic rankings when a new volume comes out so I am guessing that is the reason it is getting a new season. Kind of like Yowapeda.

Now I wish the manga would get a print release. Yen Press would be the one most likely to release it right?

Well, I was not expecting that. The anime didn’t sell that well. I guess the manga got a good boost. Huh. I’ll probably watch season 2 as well.

If The Royal Tutor(Oushitsu Kyoushi Haine)’s new project is also a second season, that opens the door for some interesting things in the future.

I was so desperate for more of this show after it wrapped that I suffered through two full cours of Elegant Yokai Apartment Life. Weekly.

This is good news, though the lack of a date probably means next year at the earliest.
