But even if they weren't, it would still be a gamble-for-cute-girls game with RPG on the side, just like a million others.
...I'm being somewhat hypocritical because I still play Pokemon Go, but at least that's an incentive to go outside.

I've been watching translated videos of the game's cutscenes (there are dozens and dozens of hours of them), and it strikes me that this would have made for a pretty amazing visual novel-style RPG on something like the 3DS or Vita. It's kind of a shame that the whole thing is tied to a mobile game that will probably end up shutting down its online servers in a couple of years.

They are.. It's very discouraging, I'm ashamed of how much I spent to get Ultimate Madoka. But there are events that give you a free 4 star summon. And the presentation is very nice and many od the new characters are endearing, even outside the new group. I like Hinano and Yakumo a lot.

Seems comparable to that of Fate/Grand Order, whose English release also came out two years after the Japanese one.

I was curious about this game since the new anime was announced but I didn't think we would actually get it after it had been two years already with no sign of a release so I'm surprised we're finally getting this. I need a new replacement for Sailor Moon Drops but I'm wondering if I should wait until after the new anime airs if I want to avoid spoilers.
