I'm not sure what to make of this trailer. I didn't think the character of Akane Mishima would be voiced by actress Brittney Karbowski. She doesn't seem to make the character sound very aggressive and feisty in her Kampfer mode.
Does anyone else think the same or am I the only one?

I personally think Brittney's Kampfer mode is like her Mikoto (Index). So, it's fitting.

The english dub could definitely use some fine tuning when it comes to some of these casting choices and voice direction but hopefully it'll find its groove as the dub progresses.The Kampfer dub is another example of the current crop of Houston ADR Directors not really embracing the stage acting talent pools that The Catastrophic Theatre and The Alley Theater offers. I'm hoping this changes in the months ahead but I'm not holding my breath to see a dramatic shift change in their casting choices anytime soon.

Sabrina Owen as female Natsuru sounds stiff IMO. This is her first role after all
