I saw the anime version so many years and enjoyed it but eventually forgot about it. I cant believe its been so long it makes me realize how old Im getting

Oh, wow. I didn't know this was a light novel series. I still have my one volume of the anime that Media Blasters put out forever ago and never finished. It would have been nice to see that get picked up by some other company and finished, though I suspect it will continue to live on my shelf of other abandoned properties forever along with Corrector Yui, I'm Gonna Be an Angel, and the like. Congrats to the author for making such an endearing fantasy work.

I remember this! Never knew it had a sequel series. Then again, this first came out way back in the 90s.
