When I read the article title, I thought, "Oh shit?? Shinkalion is coming back for a new season/series?" But it was just info for the movie. Still, that's pretty neat, I'm excited that Eva is gonna be in the film, and it makes me wonder what other crossovers are going to be included. I mean if Eva was in, then Miku is probably definitely going to be in.

While i encourage to see animes with mecha in it, i think this is not great pairing of animes. Transforming trains show with a hard science fiction/depressing(?)/world ending mecha(?) anime. i don't think its a good pairing.
