I also think that Paleontologist Pikachu was cute and I hope this comes stateside soon. I'd just love it. What do you guys think?

Pikachu is totally cosplaying as Alan Grant from JP. It's also cool to see real animals (albeit prehistoric) drawn in the Pokémon style. If I had to choose a favourite fossil Pokémon that would be Anorith and it's evolution, his real-life counterpart, Anomalocaris, is not a well-known species, but I find cambrian-age animals so interesting.

I wonder if we will get a Pokemon Go tie in for this. That Pikachu seems made for it. I think a weekend where that Pikachu and fossil pokemon spawn would be a good event for them.
