I hadn't heard of this series before, but it sounds right up my alley. It's too bad about the art, but I can overlook that if the writing is strong enough (especially if it's a self-aware comedy).

Based on the review I tried this manga. It was OK, playing with all the harem tropes. For me, the best part was when the second reaper arrives and what means for his relationships with the 4 girlfriends. However, the ending was too obvious. I wish the author had gotten a little deeper into each girl's background and then gradually had Kaoru break up with three of them, leaving one as the "best girl"
