Oh how I wish they were adapting the shows plot and have no humans in this movie.

edit: If anyone wants to see footage of what the Maximals look like in the next War of Cybertron season.

I was hoping the live action Beast Wars would be a fresh reboot and not connected to the existing movies. Part of me feels like they’re just adding the Beast Wars characters to pander to nostalgia fanservice but I hope they can at least bring back Scott McNeil.

I mean hasn’t that been a big reason for why they keep retelling the Decepticons-Autobot conflict? Or recasting Peter Cullen and Frank Welkwr?

Hopefully this stays closer to Bumblebee than the "other" Bayformer films. I liked 2007 Transformers, but with each sequel film it just got dumber and dumber not in a good way. Every good idea they came up with would be screwed up shortly after being introduced. I wanted to hate Bumblebee, but really it really is the best of the live action Transformers films in my opinion. Transformers is a close 2nd, but the MichealBayness of it hasn't aged well.

Sounds like it will be in name only.

Beast Wars worked because of its initiate, likable cast, at least for me. Putting it in the present and having humans is…not what I want out of Beast Wars.
