Quite interesting and surprising that shonen magazine publish BL manga. I think it's wasted potential that it isn't battle shonen, mystery or sport manga because regular BL magazine are full of romance manga.

I'm confused, it's wasted potential because it's different from the norm?

The most popular genre of shonen is battle shonen so quite interesting would be publish battle shonen with gay MC but from series synopsis it seems that it's series could fit typical BL magazine. I mean if someone want romance manga there multiple choice in BL magazines but if somoene want BL stuff similar to MHA, HxH or Kuroko no Basket than choice is quite limited.
