The Dark Tournament is the single best tournament in Anime/Manga. While I was disappointed in the Chapter Black Arc due to the ending, in hindsight I think it's kinda genus in its own way. Same thing can be said for Hunter x Hunter and over half of its arcs.

God damn I do love Yu Yu Hakusho couldn't resist checking out the article it was a competent read.
