It would be real nice of if the Saekano novels got released in English.....

Aniplex USA never licensed the second season. International streaming rights for that season ended up being handled by Fuji Creative Corporation instead of Aniplex Japan thanks to the noitaminA deal in 2016.
Now they did license the movie 2 years ago, but there's been radio silence on that ever since. https://saekano-movieusa.com/ animenewsnetwork.com/news/2019-10-29/saekano-anime-film-english-subtitled-teaser-streamed/.152727 Safe to say the Amazon noitaminA deal completely killed the momentum of the series in North America. As mentioned, Aniplex USA never licensed the second season. They likely would have licensed it if Aniplex Japan was handling the rights instead of FCC, and the movie would have been screened and even released on Blu-ray here. Season 1 went OOP a couple years ago. |
