Everyone in the world doesn't. However, people who are following anime industry news (by reading ANN, for example) are likely to be interested in knowing how COVID is affecting anime production, both by knowing who has been affected and needs to take time off and by getting a sense of how widespread infections are in the industry.

What, sick of hearing this? What are you doing about it then? What's everyone been doing about it? Clearly not enough, and here we are. Does ANN not reporting it make it go away?

Last I checked this is an anime and manga centric website that also posts articles on related media. I wonder why they might post a news article when a Japanese VA winds up sick with the same virus that's related to a global pandemic? Shocking!!!!!
Here's a thought, why not just ignore the article and move on if you don't care?
