Takahiro Hasui taking over the directorial role never concerned me because he did a great job helming the reigen-centric 6th episode of the show's second season. When I realized the directorial role had been handed to someone who understood the emotional pathos of the show (which I value more than just the action because its that pathos that makes the action hit harder) was when I was convinced this third season was in good hands. Couple that with the fact that Takahiro Hasui also directed some impressive looking episodes of SK8 (Skate the infinity) and I find it safe to say Mob Psycho III may end up being the most stylistic and visually appealing season of the three. I am strapped in for the heartfelt conclusion to Mob's story and I'm glad to hear the first 2 eps are more about cultivating the character drama so as to solidly tie everything up thematically by the series finale
