Tried watching the first episode of Inuyasha to test it out. 4 back-to-back adverts later I bailed.

Thanks for the heads up with the article but I'm in the same boat as you (I'm watching the first episode of Erased and was finding it quite interesting, then had to wait for 10-12 ads to finish before watching the remainder of the episode).
For those who have no other option its a good way to watch some anime series that they may not be able to see otherwise. I'd expect many have an internet connection if they're using ITV Hub though so its their choice.
