Is the manga different from the anime? I remember finding the anime villains too cringeworthy because they have the perfect chance to win but end up losing due to last minute changes. Same with the movie which basically recycled the same plot.

I know one major change is that Justice is dead by the time Afro reaches him.

Plenty of stories have this though and while I haven’t watched the anime I don’t remember that being the show’s biggest issue.
