Haven't heard Ray since he played Selkie in MHA and Leonhart is far removed from that so I'm curious to hear his take on the character.

Jonathan Rigg is not a director I'm super familiar with (I've only seen one of his shows in full and it was for a very different genre), but I really liked their approach to this dub! Emi Lo has been fantastic in so many series as of late, but Ray Hurd I mostly know from One Piece so I was super intrigued from the get-go. Definitely got those intended classic Beauty & the Beast vibes from him (just more regal), and although I did expect spoiler[a bit more of a divide with his human form in the back half, I understand that it's a tricky balance and they might have not wanted to make it too jarring.] The more archetypal, comedic supporting cast also really help sell the fantasy world.
