Girlfriend, Girlfriend goes down 26 in the weekly, up 3 in the cumulative.
Not as weird as last week, at least. |

Maybe, but still a lot of very wild swings in the weekly rankings, some of which look negatively correlated. But does that prove anything? Not really. |

Looking more closely now, Power of Hope: Precure Full Bloom also jumps out at me, rising 8 places in the weekly and dropping 7 in the cumulative. I guess it makes some sense -- episode 5 is still well below the first 3, and the ones that rose above PFB in the cumulative (UU, JJK, SXF, DMDP, AMB, Uma Musume, Dark Gathering, I'm in Love with the Villainess) all had stronger showings in the weekly chart, some much stronger.
Stardust Telepath drops 3 in the weekly and rises 6 in the cumulative. Looks like the opposite effect, as the cumulative score recovers from the effects of a weaker first episode. (The dance it's been doing with Berserk of Gluttony is interesting.) The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent is another PFB case, still being weaker than its first episodes and unable to compete with Overtake! and My Daughter Blah Blah Blah. Yeah, Girlfriend, Girlfriend is still the weirdest case. Easily its lowest position yet in the weekly, yet it overtook Tearmoon Empire, Kenshin, and Shield Hero, despite Kenshin doing much better in the weekly. |

Man, this looks damn crazy. Why all the shows that had been relatively high on the chart taking a shit and dropping down like crazy?

What I really don't get is how Dead Mount got that high, and I'm watching it. Did everything else just have terrible episodes?
