As someone who has watched the anime multiple times and considers it my favorite show of all time (Though I am aware of its flaws), I got a bit of a kick out of seeing the differences between this and the anime, mainly in that the first episode explicitly shows how Masahiro and Mokkun met, and the manga doesn't. The whole thing about the skull monster lasts a whole chapter in here whereas the anime limits it to just the first few minutes of episode one. I'm definitely curious as to how this manga will tackle the story from here on out, especially since the light novels aren't licensed. I'm absolutely buying every single physical volume of this though!

The Teen Exorcist is such a dull title, but boy-oh-boy did I do a double take when I saw the cover art - Shounen Onmyouji!!! I loved the anime and am still kicking myself for not buying the box set when I had the chance. I loved the characters and the story and since the anime is long out of print I'll be investing in this one just so I can actually own a bit of it. (Anime license rescue? Discotek, I'm looking at you.)
