Kind of ironic; with a name like the "Mariners," they seem like the last kind of people the Straw Hats would wanna join.

Mariners are sailors, not marines, so I think it's a natural fit.

I'm not a baseball fan by any means but I've been to a few Mariners games over the years and the atmosphere is pleasantly chill. If anyone wanted to attend just for One Piece and/or Sakuracon I think they would still enjoy themselves.

Just my thoughts if anyone is fence-sitting as to whether they will go or not.

They also are one of the habitually underperforming teams too. The Mariners also have some Association/sponsorships with Japanese companies like Nintendo so this isn’t new for them.
