I love that Bamboo Blade still gets love 20 years later. (Personally I'm still dreaming of an anime remake that follows the manga's story the whole way through instead of ending off on a cringy filler arc.)

Honestly, I wasn't too keen on the manga's original ending either. The last chapter was all just build up to a duel we never got a chance to see. I mean, I got the theme of the whole thing, but still felt a little anticlimactic. I've pretty much moved on since then. |
