It's been years since I've heard of CR's movie nights, the last anime film I remember they exhibited with that format was the Konosuba movie and that was like what, 6 years ago? I hope they move the movie nights outside the US, like in the old days.

Hopefully, they'll expand this to include Cineplex in Canada. (There actually are a couple of Landmark Cinemas on the outer fringes of Ottawa but they're both pretty far for me to go just to see a movie.)

Great to get news of a Western release of the Dragon Maid movie. Hopefully the UK & Europe release won't be far behind.

Really not fond of the way CR is treating the Dragon Maid movie. No confirmed dub AND relegating it to a single day release is awful and sets a terrible precedent for how it gets released around the rest of the world.

It was already frustrating enough seeing them handle the Kizumonogatari: Koyomi Vamp movie the same way for Australia and I ended up missing the first 10-15 minutes cause I had to take a train immediately after leaving work.

And on the hope that it does get dubbed eventually. How long will they make us wait? It took them close to 2 years to dub both Sasaki and Miyano: Graduation and Psycho Pass S3after originally streaming them and they still have us waiting on stuff like Gridman Universe, Laid Back Camp movie and the Isekai Quartet film.
