Oh wow they actually added the characters from the PSP version of Alpha 3. That's cool. Wish more companies would add in the bonus content from later release in their collection/remasers coughsquareenixcough

Same, I was surprised to see this part of announcement myself. Anyway, this is a cool update although I would love to see Capcom Fighting Collection 1 and 2 to have cross-platform play given that Capcom Vs SNK 2 was the first console fighting game to have done this in Japan only (USA and countries outside of Japan never got this because the Dreamcast version never seen a release outside of Japan). That would be a nice treat and also give US and non-JP players a taste of Capcom vs SNK 2's cross-platform play if they ever release an update for that (along with other game in the collection). |

It's a bit of a "holy shit!" announcement, as they've potentially just made the definitive (PvP) version of Alpha 3 from this. Whoever was working on getting that stuff off of the PSP-exclusive needs to win some sort of programming award, as this was a feat that the fanbase didn't think was even possible, and yet here we are this morning.... wow.

Whoa, definitely wasn't expecting the PSP characters to show up! I thought those were just kinda thrown by the wayside. Very cool!
