Jesus that premise sounds awful. And this was apparently written by the same author as Adachi & Shimamura and the Bloom Into You spin-off novel?

I agree. Bloom Into You’s spin-off had such a delicate tone, so seeing something like this feels like whiplash. I guess it shows how unpredictable authors can be. |

Having read "My First Love's Kiss" in its entirety, this doesn't really see to be outside of the author's wheelhouse.
I'll check out the LN and/or manga if I get the chance. I also like messy things...makes my own life seem more staid. |
