Stupid question, but was this series ever released in Japan first before getting an English publication?
I can't seem to find any info at all if it did, unlike say, the manga adaptations of Spiderman Fake Red and Batman Justice Buster which serialised in Japanese manga magazines first before making their way to the West. |

This is like the 5th Spider-Man manga I've seen come out, but I'm glad it seems like a solid entry for the character.

This manga hasn't even been released in Japan yet, so it's not a translation of anything that was published there. Marvel is publishing it straight as a manga-style comic.
