For those interested, there is also a Jdrama adaptation of Marry My Husband starring Fuka Koshiba as Misa (Jiwon) and Sato Takeru as Wataru (Jihyuk).
https://m.imdb.com/title/tt36838547/ Although the adaptation was also produced and directed by the Koreans, it was also made to appeal to Japanese tastes. (The director handled vengeance Jdrama The Glory, while the scriptwriter did Jdrama 1 Litre of Happiness). What is interesting is how the Japanese version handles the material. It's less cynical and flashy, going for a more reflective, warmer tone. Revenge still happens, but it feels more like a byproduct of Misa's main aim to change her fate/life for the better, compared to Jiwon's targeted revenge from the start. |

It's kinda funny when some Webtoon series got adapted into K-drama since they usually change clearly Victorian/medieval European aesthetic into medieval Korean aesthetic. Seem like they just don't have medieval European sets and costumes for those projects.
One particular thing I hate about K-drama is that almost every series I've watched find ways to include the " the main couple actually already met when they were young" plot. |

Business Proposal is one of my favorites. The lead actor Ahn Hyo-seop who was the voice of Jinu in Kpop Demon Hunters. In fact, his first scene where he meets Huntrix is a shot for shot redo of his intro in Business Proposal, and even uses the romantic theme from that series. Kim Sejeong is the lead actress, and she is also an amazing singer, having been in two idol groups before going solo.
This Video for her song 'Top or Cliff is just amazing. If you do like her and want something with a bit more of an anime styling, I suggest The Uncanny Counter where she is part of a team of Demon Hunters. The first season is great, though i did struggle with the second a little bit. I also recommend Moving which is on Disney plus, and is a kind of "Heroes" style superhero series. Lots of fun. |

I LOVED "Marry My Husband." The webcomic was amazing; I got so jazzed for the live-action show, and it didn't let me down. I even recommended it to my parents, and they got invested to the point Mom asked me "They are going to have a happy ending, right?" It's definitely what I'll introduce to anyone who'd like to start watching K-dramas.

I was on a cruise trip in Alaska so I didn't get chance to give my thought on this, so I apologized for the late post. But yeah, K-drama has came a long way since Crunchyroll (yes, that CR) at one time used to host and stream K-drama back in late 2000's/early 2010's, and there's Dramafever which was sadly shut down in 2018. I've been wanting to watch some recent K-dramas in Netflix, but due to the password-sharing crackdown and the whole IP-blocking outside of the primary household, I couldn't be able to watch any program on Netflix (including all my K-dramas, and Taiwanese dramas on there).
