I know it's bad to get hype for things as the actual products can basically never meet our overblown expectations.... but dammit I'm so excited for this game after years of Metroid barely existing outside of Dread and remakes/re-releases of old games.

Why is Samus holding up her hand to block her face? In the desert, at least she could be blocking the light. But in the windy dark area, it doesn't make sense. And even in the bright area, her visor should be able to filter out the light.

Cautiously optimistic that Prime 4 will turn out alright but years of being stuck in 'development hell' is bound to raise expectations to an unrealistic level (see also: Metroid Dread).

I'm curious how well the open world aspect will be executed, but that's a stellar trailer.

We'll have to wait until release and the reviews to come in to see how well that open world aspect is executed. The expectations for Prime 4 are really high, only going to get higher the closer we get to release and for how long it was stuck in 'development hell'. Remember when Metroid Dread was stuck in 'development hell', sixteen years and rumors ran wild during that time. Eight years of 'development hell' for Prime 4 is nearly tame in comparison.
