This was wonderful to read while dealing with some struggles in my family life right now. Thank you and I wish you the best, Jean-Karlo, and the same to anyone else reading this right now.

A beautiful article, Mr. Lemus. I can only imagine how many of us have had similar experiences -or even tangentally so-, and drew on strength by saying "If [this person] could do something while [X], then I can do this too."

That was a powerful, and compelling read. Very worthwhile, thank you for writing it.

(I dunno about shoma inoue, I didn't like Gavv, but the rest I was on board with. Wink )

The only Kamen Rider I’ve seen is Ex-Aid, though I’d like to watch more — Ryuki in particular, with what I know of its legacy, and I’ve heard good things about W too. But I don’t really know enough to come up with a suitable response to this essay in Rider terms.

Instead, I’ll borrow from a fandom I know somewhat better:

I’ve only seen an episode or two of Kamen Rider but decided to give this new anime a chance because I thought it could be some silly fun. As with some anime of the past, I was surprised to find myself inspired and wanting to watch more Kamen Rider due to some the the themes presented on the show. This article isn’t helping and continues to make me want to watch more and use it to help me get stronger in my own way.

Man, I remember the news of that accident while reading the week in gaming articles. Strangely feels like it happened both longer and not so long ago.
