I really like how the concept of growing up is present in Sanda. He is like the opposite of Hulk. Rather than being filled with rage due to his mutations, Sanda becomes a kind person who sees every student as an innocent child he must protect. The fact he shares Allen Walker's voice actor makes it perfect. Still, I wonder if the protagonist is gonna have a major arc to follow considering he manages to surpass most insecurities easily even five minutes after being trained by the elder with Goku's voice.

One thing i wished the essay would talk more about was the way sanda touches on Japan's low birthrate. The adults in sanda don't have lifes of their own, only focus on nostalgia for the time they were young and rarely give have emotional space for the children in their lives. While so far, the show doesn't have "solutions" it clearly shows that efforts in countries like japan and Korea to improve birthrates without touching the core issues preventing adults from having them won't fix anything.

Nah. Tried reading the Manga and felt so poorly written and out of touch with youth to me. Also the weird concept of Santa while amusing st first started to grate. Dropped it around chapter 20 I think. Loved beaststars (until its weird ass last arc) so give it a shot.
Honestly amazed its gone on this long and even got an anime.

There is nothing bloody poorly written about Sanda! Maybe some people are too bloody immature and dense to actually pay attention and examine the themes more closely! Have you considered that maybe some people like the story and appreciate it and hate the thought of someone bashing it and acting like their opinions are fact and making you guilty for wasting your own bloody money on it!
