Episode 1 - 2
Aw, cute, as expected. Not sure it'll hold my interest for a full cours. Sometimes I'll watch a show for 5 or 6 episodes, basically like it, but then suddenly decide I'm "full" and just drop it with no hard feelings. This might be one of those, but we'll see. A very simple premise but I can appreciate a slice of life that is just very basically comfy. Seeing Dou go around making the world a better place sounds like a great tale to relax with. Not sure how much I will be commenting on it though since saying that the new episode is cute every week does not exactly make for great discussion.

Watched Episode 01 and liked it a lot. Dou reminds me a little bit of Anya from Spy x Family. Although, I would say Dou's age makes her a little more innocent and cutesy. The fact that she has that "simple toddler" mentality most children her age tend to have works in her favor, and it shows in her willingness to help and be kind to people.
That old lady in wheelchair had it rough. The time lapse they showed of her life was almost as tragic as the opening of Up (2009), I got a little teary-eyed. The command-salt bit was a pretty funny followup to help balance it out. Akio Ohtsuka playing another demon lord (previously played the one in that Salaryman Turned Big Four anime), only this time he also looks like a lot like his Rider character from Fate/Zero. Heh. |

When I saw Tony K.'s comment about a woman in a wheelchair, I was puzzled. I thought, "oh no, am I developing an Edjwald-like inability to remember scenes I just watched???" But when I went back to check, I see that somehow I only watched Episode 2 of this, thinking it was the first episode, and not realizing it was a 2-eppie premiere. *whew!*

Well it is cute, I like the show, I want to watch episode 3 today, but the subtitles are messed up, they have the subtitles for episode 2, so it is unwatchable.

You seem to be confusing Edjwald with me, since that's my particular super power. -_- I thought this show might be cute, but the hide-and-seek scene nearly had me opening my veins. I did not risk watching the second episode, having barely made it out of the first with my life. |

Episode 2
I was a bit nervous with Doux supposedly participating in a "trial by seduction" but the show skated around that without making me vomit, thankfully. Lolivamp would be a valuable asset if the Demon Lord needs to have otaku seduced since so many of those freaks like her childish appearance. I had to chuckle when Jahi's attempt at seduction quickly and inevitably turned to violence. |

I am a bit behind but oh well. Given the opening I expected the little lizzard to be of importance. Cthulhu demons from a different world/dimension was a surprise though. The seduction segment was a bit weird. |

I did not expect to see Santa, there being several versions and the origin being transformed prankster demons is unexpected. The second segment showed that Doux can turn anyone/anything good. |

Well the 2nd half of the episode today, episode 6 I believe, the show would be better if they phased out the whole "try to get her to be evil" plot and be more the 2nd half of episode 6 which just the characters playing off each other and being goofy.

That was a fun and always comfy show. No matter what happened or who popped up Dou always made things end well. There being so many songs was quite a surprise. Besides that I do not have a lot to say, which is the reason why I stopped posting here, it is not a show that invites lengthy discussions. |

Super cute show, but yeah, not the kind of thing that stimulates lengthy discussion. I always mentally lump this show in with T'is Time for Torture, Princess, but the latter is funnier, as well as being cute. I'm sure Doux would get along well with the Demon Lord's daughter from that show... Hell, she'd get along well with anybody. I give this a 6/10... nothing special but my weekly dose of cute to stop me from turning into a worshipper of evil... probably.
This is the first show of the 2026 Winter season to wrap up for me, a process that will become an avalanche in the next few weeks. |
