Not really surprised considering they plan to make this one similar to Clannad I've been hearing. So every character including side cast gets a story. Clannad was delayed several times as well. Looking forward to it when it comes out.

So is Angel Beats Visual novel just dead?
They only released one episode and never did anything ever after?

It's been literally a decade, Maeda is busy with Heaven Burns Red, Kai is busy with Key's big new projects, the company itself has completely restructured its release cadence, and although I still need to get around to reading Last Operation I'm pretty sure it incorporated content that would've been included in other volumes. It's not happening

Yeah this was announced back in 2023 so I'm not surprised given the scope of it. This isn't a short Key VN like Lunaria, Harmonia or Planetarian. This will be a bigger one like Clannad, Summer Pockets or Rewrite+. Can't wait for it.
