How in the world did Gintama jump 10 places in the final week of the season in the cumulative rankings? I don't think I've ever seen a shift like that near the end before. Usually positions have pretty much stabilized by the 8th or 9th week.

Based on the current ratings, it looks like they locked in the data points before they stabilized, resulting in a case of GIGO. But it's impossible to know for sure without knowing exactly what numbers were used for each ranking, and the numbers are always changing. I've always found this to be the least useful user feedback feature, which is a shame because most of the others (seasonal and annual rankings) have been discontinued or significantly reduced in recent years.
