Theses instances of coming back to dub a whole season later always seem a little odd to me since a lot of the shine for a series wears off when it isn't part of the current season. It's especially odd to me that it is considered worth it to go back and dub a series while also having the ever growing list of shows without a home video release.

Whenever I see something like this, I always assume the streaming service must be seeing something in their numbers to make it worth it. Maybe "Scooped" continued to show good viewing numbers even after the season ended? Or consistent numbers anyway?
Agreed though about the home video aspect. Dubbing's main draw is to physical media buyers not interested in or unable to watch a subtitled release. And since Crunchyroll seems determined to keep more and more titles "locked away," I'm not sure who this is for.

I'm sure this show had its fans (although I don't recall it being all that well-received), but I guess it's streaming numbers were decent enough for them to backlog dub it compared to...all the many, many other shows without dubs.
