Two expected sequels and a third title which seems right up HIDIVE's alley. Even if they don't get anything else, it's not a bad roster for the upcoming season.

Great to see HiDive getting to continue Farming Life and Last Boss Queen!
I was hoping they'd grab Yowayowa Sensei as well, so glad to see that they actually did. Smile

Guessing Reincarnation no Kaben is getting it's own news article/announcement? Since it's a co-production with Sentai.

probably gonna watch yowayowa sensei because its always been on my list.

... coincidentally, this also allows me to use hidive, because i...i really should use it more...like, i pay for it, but i don't use it enough, and crunchyroll gets all the shows i want, which motivates me to use it less...

might finish and yet the town moves...been curious about that show.

I don't usually watch these types of shows, but I did enjoy the first season of Farming Life in Another World

That one already got announced for April, https://news.hidive.com/2026/1/17/petals-of-reincarnation-tv-anime-set-for-broadcast-in-april-2026 .

It will just get a normal hidive news, that ANN never covers (as there's no point), saying the day it starts and such.

--

4 simulcasts is actually not bad, same as the current season, last year they were getting 3. Between AMC releasing a app for Spain late last year (with native Spanish dubs at that), and growing from 3 to 4 simulcasts, they clearly have been increasing the budget again.

Wish they saved other romance series from the hands of digital only hell (CR), but I will take it.. at least is saving 1, even if it's not even on my top 3 (Aishiteru Game wo Owarasetai, Haibara-kun no Tsuyokute Seishun New Game, Class de 2-banme ni Kawaii Onnanoko to Tomodachi ni Natta).

Should have clarified, if Hidive is going to be posting a news article about it. Since the last mention of it was a few months ago and they failed to mention it as part of their new season. I assume the lack of a release date is the reason.

4 simulcasts (or even 5) isn't bad? Are we aware of how many titles including sequels will spring season have? Well actually, as someone living outside their area of service, the less they have the better.

Good. It is a positive thing in my book every time Sentai/HIDIVE can simulcast more than 3 shows.

It's not a lot, but looking at the last 2 years, it keeps increasing (spring wise):

Spring 2024: 2
Spring 2025: 3
Spring 2026: 4

Not bad for a streaming service, according to some, dying any day now for the last couple years. They are also doing more home media releases than CR now, but this is more about doing the minimum while CR/sony is actively trying to kill home media market in favor of digital only hell.

This is one thing I really appreciate about Sentai/Hidive, when they license a series it’s pretty much guaranteed to get a physical release.

Yeah, this has really bugged me about Crunchyroll. They just outright refuse to release anything that isn't dubbed and even those shows they only release popular titles and seasonal isekai.

Can usually count on HiDive streaming the nudity ecchi titles (sans the lowkey Hentai stuff)

So far, the only other show I know of coming to Hidive this year is Reborn as a Sword. Other than Reincarnation no Kaben which is also Spring.
