I hope the novels get translated. I think there’s a lot of inner dialogue and scene setting that would be useful in understanding the various characters and their interactions.

I'm curious, how much material has the anime covered so far? With the series being 10 novels my guess is it would take another 24 or so episodes to get through everything.

The anime ended at the end of volume 6, so we're actually halfway done. They cut and rearrange a lot of things. With False Assassin's backstory and Flat's subplot being cut/moved to S2 as the most egregious decision (the later is especially weird since it made Flat's actions and fate in episode 13 kinda came out nowhere).
